Oh Heidi. She is so, so sweet. I wish I was more like her.

I simply told her that Micah was so, so hard, and my rational brain knows that this time will probably be easier, but my emotions and memories don't always agree.

Heidi says she thinks of it as an honor that God has entrusted her and me with these children. I know she's right, but again... My feelings just don't agree all the time.

Dear me: There is nothing wrong with you. This is not a spiritual problem. You are not less holy because you are scared. This is an experiential problem.

Well... That sort of helped. But I might have to go cry to Stephen like I did with the motherhood questions.
