Stephen listened to Casting Crowns' song "Broken Together" the other day, so it's been stuck in my head, which is the worst. It's one of their poignant songs about marriage.

They're really good at poignant.

Anyway, so I just watched the video to it and of course, I'm teared up.

But, like these songs usually do, it made me thankful. For Stephen. That we haven't had a bad fight in a really long time. That we can have intense discussions without hurting each other now. That we're operating from the same page now.

Going the same direction in life makes so much difference.

So I'm just thankful today.

Thank You, God, for preserving our marriage. We pray you would continue to do so by keeping us grounded in your Gospel for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
