This is a song from a band I recently discovered. I guess you would call them Christian indie.

I'm posting it because of this one line that keeps echoing in my mind: "Oh, my love, you're my child/Take all these good things/Soften your heart." That seems to be what God has been trying to get through to me for the last...um, ever. I mean in the last years since I've been married.

I like a whole lot of the lines in this song. And I like how it suddenly switches from soft slow to spunky flow. About the only thing I don't like is how SAD the piano sounds toward the end when there's no more singing. That gets me. But I love the rest of it.

Another line I like: "Walk with me/Tell me the depth of/Raging seas, the deepest blue/Could never define you."

Most people like the "deepest blue" part. That's cool, but I think I like "Tell me the depth of raging seas" even more....To know that God knows the depths of the seas, even when they're raging...That tells me a lot.

I love the entire album Young Love. They've put up the entire list of songs on their YouTube channel, kyekyeband. My other most favorites are "Knowing This," "Walking This," "My Sight"....And "Reach," and "Went About," and "Rooftops." Gosh, I just listed over half the songs. LOL!

They've made a remix of the entire album, which shows up on their channel before the list of the originals. The original songs have a blue album cover; the remixes have a purple/black album cover and say "Remix." The remixes are really interesting to listen to, but the originals are more...healing, I guess.
