I'm reading through Proverbs right now, and these are just a few that stood out to me this week.

"Why should a fool have money in his hand to buy wisdom when he has no sense?" 17:16

"If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame." 18:13

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe." 18:10

"Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense." 12:11

"The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice." 12:15

"The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult." 12:16

"A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself." 11:17

"When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent." 10:19

"When there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." 11:14
