Hey, God. Will you knock some sense into that dense head of Chris's? Grab him by the shoulders and shake him, if necessary! I don't know if he is seriously considering doing away with himself, but it sure doesn't seem like it. I think he's being as melodramatic as all get out. And he's dragging Angela through it, which is making me mad.

But,God, obviously he is in a lot of real pain. His life is emotional chaos right now, and for a guy, that's pretty bad. So, God, I just pray that You would reach out to him. Do something to make him see that life is worth living, despite how horrible it feels right now. I can see, God, that that will take a lot of convincing in his case. I know You can do it--just bring him out of this pit, okay, God? Show him the light again. He had it once. Turn his mind to You again.

Also, Father, help Angela through this, as she's the one Chris is using for a punching bag. Strengthen her with Your love and hope.

And, Father, deal with Chris. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
