I read a really neat thing in Stephen's study Bible today. "God's unchangeable perfection does not mean He is impassive and unfeeling, but what He feels is a matter of His own choice, and is included in the unity of His infinite being." So God is not driven by feelings, but chooses how He feels. This makes sense to me.

It got me to thinking. Do humans have the ability to choose how they feel rather than simply feeling? Or, if Christians are being transformed more and more into His image, is this ability to choose how we feel something we will get better at, too? Or is being able to choose how you feel just part of what makes God God, and we are just relegated to choosing how we respond to our feelings?
