Much cooler in the apartment today. Hooray! So cool, in fact, that I couldn't resist using one of the 5 boxes of brownies I recently acquired, thanks to my sweet, and funny, grandmother-in-law. Our apartment may reach 75 or 76 inside...But I'm pretty sure fudgy brownies with peppermint and white chocolate chips in it will make it worth it!

I have quite a sweet tooth. Funny the things you don't mention on Dland because your diary is usually full of your deeper thoughts...

Other randomness about me I may not have mentioned here:

• I LOVE sparkly things!
• I love (clothes and makeup) shopping. But I only shop cheap!
• I used to hate shopping! I also used to never wear makeup, although it always had a draw on me, as did pretty clothes. But they were more or less the stuff of dreams and Disney movies to me, not stuff of real life, until I got into college and saw lots of girls in pretty outfits and makeup.
• Since then, I've become VERY into feminine things. I love lace especially. And I have a terrible time not buying super cheap fancy dresses when I see them at Goodwill. I miss having banquets as excuses to wear them!
• When it comes to academic things, I'm smart and learn pretty fast.
• I would say I have an "ironic" sense of humor. And "random." Maybe. I've never been able to pin my sense of humor. :P
• My least favorite colors are brown and orange. Unless they're alongside other autumn colors, where they belong.
• I love to dress according to the seasons. I love seasons.
• Sometimes I think I'm part cat, part butterfly, and part human. Cat: introverted, like high places, like cozy darkish places, pretty independent but like to cuddle (with my husband :) ). Butterfly: like bright colors, love flowers, love sunshine.
• I play a bit of piano.
• My favorite books to read are 5th-6th grade level novels. Somehow they are always the best written!

There, a little fuller picture of me. :) It's kind of fun and freeing to put silly things like that in here!
