So, Christmas rushing has begun. :) Steve and I made our first official Christmas shopping trip today. It was fairly successful. I bought presents for three people.

This year Steve's family is doing Christmas a little different. We "kids" drew one name to buy for from among the other "kids."

By the way, Stephen's sister got engaged over Thanksgiving. :D :D :D We're all very excited and happy. Except maybe Cari. LOL. She said, "...But I have finals to think about!"

Cari is a very different kind of girl. She wasn't even sure which hand the ring went on. :D She's completely levelheaded about ev-er-y-thing and has a very humorous take on life. Her way of announcing her engagement to the Facebook world was, "So, it turn out I'm going to marry Eric after all. Huh."

They've been dating for 3 years. Everybody knew this was coming. :)

Anyway, she's just...Cari. :D

At least she had the girl sense to text a bunch of her closest friends before putting it onto Facebook, LOL.

So...I got off track. What was I going to write about?

Oh yes! I drew Eric. Cari's fiance. Who is about the last person on earth I would've chosen to buy for, because I don't know him at all. None of the family does, really, except Cari and maybe Jon. He's super quiet and reserved (like me!). But I called Cari for a few ideas and bought him a board game, and also got a gift receipt. I know he likes to read, so if he doesn't want the game, he will have tons of uses for the money I spent on it.

The other people I bought presents for were my love and Grandma and Grandpa. Steve and I are putting together a gift basket from a super unique store that I love here that they definitely don't have. I'm really excited about the gift basket; I think they will like it a lot.

It was so fun to go Christmas shopping today. I got to go to my favorite shopping area in the metro area and I was just in seventh heaven.

Have I mentioned that I love Christmas? LOL.

Even if gift-deciding is stressful sometimes. :)
