Today Christian artist Beckah Shae posted on her page, "Careful who you praise as Genius, Creative, Beautiful, Amazing...etc. If it's not giving Honor Back to 'THE CREATOR' They are an Imposter."

Interesting thing to post. I don't know what she means by "imposter"--she has an odd way of putting things sometimes--but I think there are people who are creative, who are beautiful, and extremely intelligent, that are not Christians. I don't think that makes them any less gifted. I don't think you have to refrain from calling them those things. But I think it's something you can recognize even while still being aware of the fact that their hearts are far from God. And I think that it should rather lead us to pray for those people to come to know Christ. Denying that a gifted person is gifted simply because they are not Christians wouldn't be a true thing to do/say, and in the end it does nothing for their souls anyway.

Anyway, just a random deep thought for the day. :) I thought about putting it on Beckah Shae's page... But I don't know her, so I'm not entirely sure where she's coming from with this. I could be misreading it.
