Micah is 2!!!

What a fun day we had. And what a fun year, too. One was SUCH a great age! Oh man. Definitely my favorite so far, LOL. (I have so much experience to go on...)

We went to the science museum today, which was practically a gift to ME! :D I'm probably not someone you'd immediately classify as a science nerd, but I do love science museums. Anything that deals with how things work fascinates me--whether it's language, music, the human mind, or physics! I probably would have loved physics and chemistry if I had taken them. One of the several decisions I regret from high school!!

Anyway, Micah had fun at the science museum too. Especially when we went to the 6 and under section. The rest of the time he just kind of stared. But when we got to the 6 and under section, it was like he suddenly KNEW this section was for him! He just took off--and went straight for the water exhibit, of course! LOL! This kid is drawn to water like a magnet.

Oh, we also turned his car seat around and it is SO FANTASTICALLY GREAT to be able to turn around and see his sweet little face smiling back at me. He likes it too--he kept giggling on the drive to the museum! And pointing out all he could see. LOVE.

After we got home from the museum, he ate lunch and took a looooooooooooong nap!! We wore him out. :) Afterward, we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa B, Great-Grandma B, and Great-Aunt Carolyn, and then Micah got to open up his presents. We got him a million things. But how do you say no to puzzles (educational!)? And Daniel Tiger (which he loves)? And a hooded towel (which he needed)? And books about planes (which he loves)? Or a POOL (we all know how he feels about "ba"!)?

Grandma and Grandpa got him clothes and a big puzzle. Auntie and Great-Grandma B got him toy cars.

Anyway, I am excited about Micah being 2. I know 2 is tough, but I just love watching him learn more and more about communicating and language. I may love knowing how all things work, but language is definitely at the top!

Well, Mommy is super tired, too, and it's LATE. So. Time for bed!!
