Micah is emotionally wired just like me. He's emotionally sensitive, prone to anxiety and depression. Has a very hard time with loss.

His friend Jonah is moving out of our cul-de-sac. We just had to tell him today.

And oh. Watching him grieve. It's as hard on me as it is on him.

He's almost 9. Not too far from adolescent hormones. This is the first of many instances of grief he'll have to go through. I hope God has prepared me adequately for this. <3
