LOL! Today on our chapel cards (we attend 32 chapels a semester and fill out cards to record them) I wrote to Gene (the chaplain here at NNU): "Are the God of Islam (Allah) and the God of the Bible the same God?"

He wrote me back: "You get the prize for the best chapel card question of the day."

Wow! That is SO funny. I always had a knack for asking tough questions when I was in Bible quizzing. Apparently I've still got it! Woo-hoo! :D

So I'm silly. Rejoicing over being able to ask tough questions. LOL.

Anyways, back to topic.

Gene told me that Muslims, Christians, and Jews all worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That totally complicates things... Sadie's questions don't have as simple an answer as I hoped they would. I realized that the answer doesn't lie, in this case, in what God we serve, but who we see Jesus as. So.... I've got to somehow, convincingly, back my beliefs that Jesus is the ONLY truth, the ONLY way to God.

In the meantime, I still worry about Sadie getting deeper entrenched in these ideas she has come across. :S
