AWWWW! My wing is so sweet!!!!

Today I got a card in my mailbox. I saw on the back Amanda Joy's name and I was like, Aw! How come she's giving me a card? Is she that thankful for my help in Biblical Studies? I thought it was really sweet. Amanda Joy is one of my favorite people on this wing.

Anyway, so I was reading the front, which said (yeah, you get ALL the details!): "It only takes one smile to offer welcome... and blessed be the person who will share it. It only takes one moment to be helpful... and blessed be the person who will spare it. It only takes one joy to lift a spirit... and blessed be the person who will give it. It only takes one life to make a difference, and blessed be the person who will live it."

I was beginning to think this was rather too much--and strangely sentimental of Amanda--and then I opened the card.

In it were the signatures of all my wingmates.

"God blesses those who give of themselves," I read on the inside of the card. "May He reward you for being so kind."

A couple weeks ago I left Post-It notes of encouragement on my wingmates' doors. Just because. Well, I did a little less than half of them on doors, and the rest I mailed in mailboxes. They were just little cheerful, definitely sentimental things. LOL.

Anyway. I cut out yellow stars that said, "A Star to Light Your Day," red hearts that said, "A Little Love to Warm Your Day," things like that. Like I said, way sentimental. :D Anyway... I loved doing it. I just hoped the girls didn't think it was too silly of me.

And the card was filled with little thank-you notes to me!!! AWWWW!!!

I was SO touched, and SO happy that my little attempts at encouragement were recognized and appreciated! I am going to put that card somewhere where I can see it all the time. Maybe I'll put it by my bed. Anyway! I can't believe they all took the time to make me a thank-you card... I could NOT feel more loved!

How blessed am I to have such great friends on top of great family?? Praise be to the Lord for having such kind mercy on me!

Thank You, Father! You are the best for sending me these angels! Thank You!!
