"And I've been keeping all the letters that I wrote to you..." Does anyone else do that? I can't tell you how many unsent letters I have at home. And not just because I don't finish them, although I have a good deal of those too. :)

"I know just why you could not come a long with me/This was not your dream..." And yet he still misses her. So sweet. I want a love like that.

Ha! That reminds me of Can't Buy Me Love. "With a love like that, you know you should be glad." How appropriate that it should follow "Home" on the CD!

On a random note, here's something I wrote today while I was sitting outside, attempting to do homework:

"You would never guess summer's end was upon us by the grounds of the campus, where the grass is still kept green by the hardworking lawn-tenders, and the sun still beams the warmth of its fire. Even most of the trees still have their full head of leaves. But here and there the treetops belie the weather. Pale gold heads proclaim the onset of autumn. And everywhere the minds of the students are focused on Homecoming and Thanksgiving plans, envisioning the chestnut, gold and orange colors of fall.

"Oh, that summer might prolong its life and cover the grey and beige of December, the darkest days of the northern year, that autumn could hold off its frosty edge and barren trees to hinder the disappearance of life and color from the earth. In winter, all is tinted with shades of grey. Even fashion reflects the gloomy sky. 'Tis strange to think that the brightest star of our existence came to us on one of the darkest nights of the year."

On the flip side of the coin, I'm already singing Christmas songs to myself. :P LOL.

Well, guess I'll turn in for the night. I have nothing further to waste time with.
