Well, that was mortally embarrassing.

I got my driver's license on Friday. Today was my first day driving ALONE!

The driving part was fine. Now, the parking... That was a different story. I cannot park. Not even in angled parking spaces.

I nearly ran into the car next to me the first time I pulled into the parking lot at the school. I was, like, 4 inches from the nose of the car. Holy cow... That would've been so bad. And then when I reversed and tried to pull back in, I guess I didn't back out enough, and I ended up at a hideous angle, taking up the spot on my right more than the spot I was trying to pull into.

I must've put it in reverse and tried to pull in ten times. (Okay, more like three... but school was out and students were all over the parking lot...watching me...) I finally pulled into the empty parking space to the right of the one I started to pull into. I ended up right on the line, but at least I was at the right angle! Good grief.

Tomorrow I get to drive to school, without my sister... I hope I do a better parking job than I did today! Maybe I'll get there really early so there'll be plenty of parking spaces open. Hey... That's an idea... I don't mind getting up a little earlier.

This week's warming up again. I wonder how hot it'll get? Last week the average temp was, like, 65�, and it RAINED all day Monday or Tuesday! Yesterday and Friday it was beautiful. I hope it stays Friday-like.

Logan wasn't at school today. How sad! But, you know what, I was SO comfortable during jazz choir without him in there... Like, I wasn't all freaked out about how I looked. It was nice. So I liked that part of it. But it was still kind of sad.

We had a sub in jazz choir today. She actually wasn't that bad... It's just that she didn't conduct like Mr. D., so it was weird during our songs, especially Moon River. But we were awesome at Song of the Drum! I love that song. I'm glad I got to do it again. :)
