Dear God, I'm ready to commit my life to him, but I'm starting to get too panicky and taking way too many steps forward at a time in my hurry to get there--much like I act when I try to give a speech in front of a lot of people. :)

Lord, I love him, and I'm learning to love him more every day. I don't feel the sickening panic that I felt when I was getting scared about student teaching, God; this is different. It's a joyful kind of excitement and expectation mixed with a bunch of nervousness. It's the nervousness that's moving me forward too quickly. Please help me not leap ahead of you, Lord Jesus.

Thank you that I don't have to give you long, drawn-out explanations, Jesus. Thank you so much. :) I love you, Jesus.
