So I'm going to decide I'm an only child now.

My sister--I mean, this girl I know is dating her ex. Again.

She's been on and off with him for...Years. She can't get over him. He's 8 or 9 years older than her; they first dated when she was about 19. She's 22 now. He had a 2-year-old son from his former fiance when they were dating.

So I am an only child. I do not have a sister, because I can't handle that kind of responsibility right now.

This is going to send me back to counseling, isn't it?

Okay, unfortunately, I can't deny that she's my sister.

Is there anything I can do to help, God? Anything? Anything?

Must. Have. Control. Must.

I wonder if this would be any easier if she actually let her family know what she's doing in her life personally, instead of just declaring it on Facebook.

I'm desperately afraid that she's going to marry him.
