To my Prince Charming - who may or may not ever read this:

Good grades mean a lot to me, as they should to everyone. Colleges look at grades when accepting students. Good grades denote hard workers, and those are the kinds of people colleges want.

Good grades are also important to me because they tell me I�m doing my best. I know I�m smart and could get straight A�s, and that�s what I strive for. The reason I don�t get straight A�s is because I don�t try hard enough, and that makes me feel like I�m being less than I should.

Perhaps I�m being hypocritical by wanting good grades but not trying hard enough in classes I don�t like. Perhaps that�s an issue I need to settle between God and myself.

So, is it right to want good grades? Is it wrong? Is it worth breaking up over? It�s not worth breaking up over. I�ll try to remember that if you do.
