Hmm. There's a lot of stuff on my plate all of a sudden. I was freaking out at first, but realized I needed to just go to God and re-center. So I did my devotions, which were on Isaiah 12, a chapter about exalting God. Immediately I realized I needed to hear "Exalted (Yahweh)" by Chris Tomlin. Boy, did I ever need to hear that song. It was like a long drink of fresh water.

So, what's going on, you ask? Well, you know that makeup company I'm considering being a consultant for? Well, I just realized I can assist her in a different way: by writing some product descriptions for her. She has generic descriptions on there for a lot of it, but not specific descriptions on the colors--and I LOVE color. :) So I offered to write descriptions for her, and do you know what she said? "I do have to rewrite the listings...And I hate to write. No, I hate to keyboard. I am going for a more corporate feel...So I have to take out all the listings and replace 'I' with 'we.' What would you charge for that? Are you familiar enough with colors to do it?"

Am I familiar with colors enough...HA! Who does she think she's talking to? ;)

So anyway, I haven't gotten back to her about a price yet. I had to ask a few people. And I also needed to ask her a few questions about what specifically she'd want me to do.

I'm a bit worried I might've over-assumed. I asked if I would be rewriting the entire descriptions. Perhaps she really only had the switching out of "I" for "we." But then again, she said, "I have to rewrite the listings." So maybe I didn't assume too much.

The truth is, my professional opinion is that her writing is unprofessional-looking.

(Can I call myself a professional if I don't write for a profession? I do have a college degree in it... :P Oh well.)

So that's one project looming ahead of me. The other project is just researching things in consideration of becoming a consultant for her company. What I'm doing right now is working on my marketing plan. I'm building a list of businesses that it would make sense to advertise at, and getting their phone numbers so I can call and ask how much it would cost to advertise there, or if they would even allow it.

Then I just received two more projects to think about! My best friend's mom e-mailed me and asked if I'd be interested in helping her out with a diaper cake while I'm in town, before Liz's baby shower. (Did I mention yet that I'm going to Liz's baby shower in my hometown next month?) Our trip is already going to be crowded between visiting Jenny, possibly going peach or plum-picking, meeting with Rhonda, going to Liz's baby shower, and spending time with my grandparents. Goodness gracious!

The final thing on my plate just came in hot off Facebook messaging. One of the women from our small group (Amy, Brynn's mom) told me a girl she used to know is getting married and asked if she could pass along my information to her! OH MY GOSH! A wedding?! Me?!

So--freak out!

So yeah. Where in the heck did all this busy-ness come from?!! It never rains but it pours!
