So, it's time to move on. I think.

I mean from my job.

First, working Saturdays just sucks.

Second, the last three times I have asked for a Saturday off (mind you, there's been at least a month in between them all), I haven't received them.

Third...Nope, there is no third. Those two reasons about sum it up.

So I need a new direction. I'm wondering if I can get a job with another florist, even just cleaning buckets or something.

The other job I know I could do and would really enjoy doing is an activity assistant or an activity director at a retirement home or assisted living home. I would LOVE that! Unfortunately, most of them require Saturdays. LOL.

But I still think I would enjoy it a lot. And it would be more hours.

And there may yet be another job that I haven't looked at yet that God has in store for me. But I am feeling, I think, gently pushed out of my current one.

So anyway....Here's to looking for the open doors God will show me. And that He will give me the courage to walk through one when it opens.
