July 1st:
I had a great day at work. In fact, my last 3 days of work have been good, which I think is a record. :D Praise God! I think I might be finally adjusting.

I think the others are adjusting to me being there, too. I'm pretty sure M gave me his "seal of approval" by giving me a nickname: "New Girl." LOL. He never says, "Hey Stephanie," or "See you, Stephanie," he just says, "Good morning, New Girl. Bye, New Girl." He kind of reminds me of a little boy that way. LOL.

But he is still being as helpful as ever. Today with his help, I made a *really* pretty arrangement! I think it was one of the prettiest ones I've ever made. It was cream and orange and blue-violet. Like a sunrise. Sooooooo pretty!

July 2nd:
I got to help my boss (G) with online ordering today. I felt so cool and smart. :) I also got to "show off" my typing skills (90 WPM) to one of my coworkers today. It's nice that those skills come in handy everywhere you go.

Sometimes I feel like my life is pointing me toward helping seniors and other computer/Internet-illiterate people with computer stuff. I've been doing that since I was, like, 12. LOL. There are definitely benefits to being the only one who grew up on the Internet. :D

Today I made one of the scariest/most stressful arrangements I've ever made! Eeeek!!! It had been SUPER slow at the shop and G was just about to let me off, when we got a phone call from a lady who wanted 3 funeral pieces for a funeral tomorrow. Two of them were European baskets, so J did those, but one was a $50 mixed arrangement.

Oh... Also, God saved my butt today. :( I don't feel like going into great detail, because I'm extremely embarrassed at something I did that could've cost the shop a lot of trouble (and $78) if God hadn't come through for me. :( What a wonderful Lord, to turn our stupid mistakes into good! Ay yi yi. I'm NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN.

July 3rd:
Yep. M's accepting me. :) Today I stopped into the shop to pick up my paycheck and, after his usual "Hey New Girl," he actually started randomly chatting with me. Very cool!! I'm pleased that I'm officially "one of the team" in his mind, hahaha!
