I'm not sure if I'm going to be frequent on Dland for a while. I've been making use of a couple other journaling outlets. See if you can catch me around Thanksgiving, though.

But I didn't want to leave on a super depressing entry, so I wanted to say that Grandpa was discharged Friday night, we got to have dinner with him Saturday night, and then he flew back home to Grandma Sunday morning. I called to check and see if he'd gotten in all right later, and that's the last I talked with him. He's being very good about visiting doctors for follow-up appointments, though. This is good--he HATES going to the doctor. I think Grandma is doing a good job of making him go. :)

We'll get to see them for Thanksgiving. I wish it were sooner. :( The older I get, the harder it gets to be away from them. I don't like the idea of them not having ANY family nearby. They're not even as satisfied with their church as they used to be (with good reason; it has been through so many dramatic changes since I left). I wish there was some way we could figure out to take care of them.

Well, this is turning out almost as depressing an entry! Hopefully I'll be back with more uplifting things soon.
